Straight from a physics exam to fond farewells!
Year 11 students enjoyed a trip down memory lane this morning as they gathered in the sports hall with Mrs Hubbard, y11 tutors and teachers for a final year group assembly. We looked at old photographs, made sure shirts were signed with good luck messages and enjoyed a generous slice of a giant chocolate cake as everyone mingled to a ‘time to say goodbye’ soundtrack. Mrs Maw finished proceedings with the traditional Gaelic blessing:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
