Grindon Hall Christian School is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of its pupils and staff. All safeguarding concerns and referrals will be handled sensitively, and professionally. In cases where we believe a child may be subject to significant harm, ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse we will follow procedures set out by Sunderland Safeguarding Children Board in accordance with the statutory guidance issued by the Department for Education.

Online Safety : Important Notice For Parents/Carers

Please talk about this with your child and remind them that they must never:

– communicate online with anyone they do not know personally.

– respond to requests for nude/semi nude images.

– share a nude image of anyone else.  To do so is a criminal offence and will be dealt with accordingly.

If anyone shares such an image with your child, it should be reported to the police immediately.
